Phoenix was averaging 106.5 points per game, but was held to season-lows in the first half (34) and total points and committed a season-high 28 turnovers.
Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge ankle injury improves, but he was already out for two games, and it is still unknown when he might be back. Aldridge has averaged more than 20 points per game in each of the past five seasons, but is now averaging 14.8 in his first season with the Spurs.
Suns leading scorer Eric Bledsoe will sit out Monday night’s game at San Antonio due to soreness in his left knee from a collision during Sunday night’s loss at New Orleans. Leonard later drove into the lane and kicked the ball out to Green for a 3-pointer and a 59-41 lead.
The Spurs remained unbeaten at home despite setting a season-high with 21 turnovers that resulted in 18 points for the Suns. Bledsoe and Knight entered Monday’s game averaging a combined 44.2 points per game, second only to the 47.9 averaged by Golden State’s All-Star backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
Forward Kawhi Leonard led the Spurs with 24 points and 13 rebounds as one of four San Antonio players in double-figure scoring.

“In the first half, we couldn’t get it going because we were turning it over, too”, said Spurs guard Manu Ginobili, who had eight points in 19 minutes.
