Eric Church is coming back to Winnipeg
Sounds like Eric Church has been thinking about Springsteen again. The run will launch January 13, 2017 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb. and will make its way across North America with stops in Chicago, Ill, Los Angeles, Calif., and Tampa, Fla, just to name a few. But the tour’s trucks and crew will arrive in Lincoln on Jan 11 and will use the arena to flawless the stage setup, lighting and sound system for the 2017 tour. Church, a seven-time Grammy Award nominee and five-time Academy of Country Music Award victor, released his latest studio record, “Mr”.

The tour announcement came via a live Facebook video update on Church’s page during his Tuesday night performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colo.
Added Church: “The way this album came together mandated we release it as a surprise, straight to our fans, as it was important for me to deliver the music the same way the creativity hit me – directly and swiftly”.
In a bold move, Church will play two sets with a brief intermission in between.
Registration for new Church Choir membership is open until August 23 at ericchurch.com.
Church has dedicated a larger allotment of fan club tickets than in the past. Pre-sale purchase links and special codes will be sent directly via text message to pre-registered fan club members, offering them three days to buy tickets. According to his website, in a push “to remove scalpers from the pre-sale process before it even happens”, there will be only one ticket pre-sale, and it’ll be for members of his Church Choir fan club. Moreover, the Church Choir pre-sale will be the only pre-sale. The “Church Choir” pre-sale will be the only pre-sale – there won’t be any venue, credit card or radio pre-sales.

Church’s team also revealed that they have commissioned new technology that will be able to identify orders made by scalpers, and that orders may be canceled at any time. The fan club pre-sale begins at 11 a.m. September 9 and ends at 11:59 p.m. September 11.
