Eric Fisher out a couple of weeks with ankle sprain
Chiefs left tackle Eric Fisher limped off the field early in practice Monday, the latest injury to a team that had several players dinged up in its preseason opener.

Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Eric Fisher (72). But Adam Teicher of ESPN.com noted, “Fisher didn’t have the look of someone who would return soon”.
Donald Stephenson and Jarrod Pughsley will now step into the starting roles at tackle for Kansas City. “They’ll X-ray it, MRI it and see what the deal is”. Chiefs RT Jeff Allen is already sidelined with an MCL sprain. Allen did not return to practice Monday.
Reid said he didn’t know if Fisher has suffered a high-ankle sprain.
“He took some hits there and was still able to make throws”, said Reid.
We are just under a month away from the Chiefs first regular season game on September 13 so if this timeline is accurate then Fisher could be back for the first game.
“When those pieces are together and those guys are getting all the reps, there’s some good up there and you’re seeing that as we go”, Pederson said.

They have, for now, backups at each tackle spot, they moved Laurent Duvernay-Tardif into the starting lineup at right guard this week, and rookie center Mitch Morse blew an assignment in last week’s game against Arizona that led to pressure up the middle and an interception.
