Eric Weddle: Eric Weddle furious at Chargers organization
According to Weddle’s agent the team fined him $10,000 for staying on the field during halftime of the Chargers Week 15 game against the Miami Dolphins to watch his daughter perform a dance routine. “Acee said that Weddle was “stunned” and furious”.

Eric Weddle got fined by the Chargers for the worst reason ever.
After the last of the fans left, Weddle went out to midfield to lie on his back on the Chargers helmet logo for a few minutes.
There will likely be a response of some kind from the Chargers to Canter’s volleys and they may add more color to the team’s decisions, but it feels safe to say that Weddle will be in a different uniform come the 2016 season.
There’s been a lot of discussion about whether or not Weddle will return to San Diego next season.
After not disclosing the fine for a week, Weddle’s agent David Canter tweeted about the fine in an angry series of tweets directed at the Chargers.
It’s certainly not the sort of behavior you see in amicable relationships, and it might mean Weddle’s time with the franchise is nearing an end. On Monday, the Chargers placed Weddle on I.R. “against his wishes” after informing him “there is not room on the plane for him” to make the team’s Week 17 trip to Denver.

“Team has multiple players they aren’t putting on injured reserve that cannot play this weekend but have chose to put @weddlesbeard on IR”, he posted. He did report on time for training camp. The Chargers are 0-5 against AFC West teams going into Sunday’s game.
