Last week, Kanye West announced the return of G.O.O.D. And according to her Soundcloud description, “Trill Friends” will be featured on an upcoming mixtape humorously titled THIS $h!t TOO EASY. Friday release, “Real Friends”, has already spawned a new remix, thanks to the one and only Erykah Badu.

Badu wrote that she created the track while “messin’ around this morning”, adding that she was “really supposed to be recording something else” at the time.
“Trill Friends” is just the latest instance of Badu gleaning inspiration from hip-hop, as she has been quite active this year.
Badu calls her remix the BADU WHODINI rough mix and uses the original production.
The track is a killer piece of chill in its own right, and definitely worth a few spins.
Over Thanksgiving weekend, Badu released her But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape, which features contributions from Andre 3000 and a Drake sound alike named ItsRoutine.
