ESPN and Colin Cowherd set to part ways
The ESPN and ESPN Radio personality is leaving the Disney-owned company, ESPN announced in Thursday. But Olbermann too is slated to be out the door over his clashes with management over opionated sections of his show where he would critize sports figures and leaders; something that ESPN apparently won’t stand for. Ending also bring new beginnings, for ESPN and Colin, and we thank him and wish him the best. His National Basteball Association takes have created backlash in recent years, as he’s claimed race was the reason for the Indiana Pacers’ low attendance and has taken several shots at John Wall.

If true, a move to Fox Sports would make sense for Cowherd.
Cowherd started hosting “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” on ESPN Radio in 2003.
One of ESPN’s biggest voices is leaving the network. Cowherd’s brand of psudeo-scientific, armchair socio-economics is better suited for a network known primarily for its shoot-from-the-hip, lasiez-faire political leanings. And while his future home hasn’t been officially confirmed or announced, all signs point to him heading to Fox Sports.
Cowherd began working at ESPN in 2003, when he replaced Tony Kornheiser for the late-morning time slot on ESPN Radio. While I think Cowherd understandably wants more of a presence on TV, I don’t think he’d be too thrilled to give up his radio show to do it.

What do I think will end up happening? “Big 12 Live From Media Day” will be televised 9 a.m.to 1 p.m. both days on Fox Sports 2 and on Fox Sports Regional Networks in the Big 12 footprint, including Fox Sports Oklahoma.
