ESPN’s Stephen A Smith Rants, Threatens Kevin Durant
One more thing we’re concerned about now is how Kevin Durant will react to this. “But like I said before, I have people who I talk to about everything and I know for a fact they didn’t talk to him, so he’s making up stories”. Folks like Maine will still be here.

On Friday, Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant responded strongly to a report from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith that Los Angeles would be “primary objective” if he didn’t re-sign in Oklahoma.
Seems like a pretty appropriate response at first, but Stephen A. Smith then went on a almost 20-minute rant of epic proportions. “I’m not lying.” If you want to get inot a semantic distinction between the meaning “lying” and “telling the truth”, the literal meanings of the words may vindicate him. I said nothing offensive about him, I will not say anything offensive about him.
“I said if OKC, if Kevin decides to leave OKC, I’m hearing that LA is a prime spot that he is considering”. You are being represented by Rocnation. Are you trying to tell me these large markets are not a consideration?
Smith probably thought he sounded like a cool, intimidating villain in a Scorsese flick, when in reality his monologue mirrored one of a henchman who gets his ass kicked by Jason Statham 35 minutes into the movie. But I think it’s important to document what freaking weirdo this guy is.
Smith continued, noting that this isn’t the first time Durant has called out the media, saying it takes away from his credibility to question Smith’s report.
He furthered that point with this: “And I’m looking right into the camera and I’m gonna say it again: You do NOT want to make an enemy out of me”.

“Do you really want me to come out of this seat and go back on the scene?” he asked. “I’m not having it”.
