Russia’s “disqualification is suspended until the end of the tournament”, UEFA said.
The organisation’s disciplinary committee warned that the suspension will be lifted should there be any further “crowd disturbances” inside the stadium at Russia’s remaining matches.

England manager Roy Hodgson and captain Wayne Rooney have asked fans to “stay out of trouble” amid concerns the Three Lions could be disqualified from UEFA Euro 2016 following several days of riots in Marseille.
Fans in the Russian section also lighted fireworks during the game, and at least one flare was shot onto the field.
French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said on Tuesday that police had detained a group of Russian Federation fans near Cannes on the French Riviera.
The English team is due to play Wales on Thursday in the nearby city of Lens.
Police surrounded the bus and forced the Russians to undergo identity checks. Street fights between fans in Marseille are not relevant at this point.
No Russians were arrested, although Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin said on Monday about 150 Russians were in fact well-organized hooligans.
