Evacuation order lifted in central Washington wildfire
Deputies report firefighters were successful overnight in keeping fires away from homes.

The Lower Crab Creek fire has Lower Crab Creek Road between the Smyrna community and east to Beverly closed. The cause is still under investigation.
State Fire Marshal personnel are in route to the scene to coordinate dispatch of resources, and personnel will be staffing the State EOC. State fire resource mobilization has been requested and approved.
Fire officials say the wildfire has been burning since Friday evening and has consumed roughly 1.5 square miles. No structures have burned and no injuries have been reported.
A wildfire blaze is no longer threatening a tiny community in central Washington, allowing law enforcement authorities to call off a mandatory evacuation order.
