Evan McMullin Says Donald Trump Will Lose 2016 Election

Winning Utah could conceivably leave McMullin with a shot at the White House, if no candidate won an overall majority and the current House made a decision to pick a compromise for President. I’m the only candidate who knows anything about how to destroy ISIS. Many have been bothered by Trump’s rhetoric demonizing Muslims, given Mormons’ history as a persecuted group.
Critics have suggested McMullin entered the race in order to help Clinton, but he rejects the notion and says Trump had already been losing in the polls before he chose to run for president.
McMullin, who threw his hat into the ring on August 8, said he’s more qualified than Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton in battling terrorism. Obtaining the 2,000 signatures he’s going to need to get his name on the Minnesota general election ballot.
“Asked if he had any concerns about potentially aiding Democrat nominee, Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid by splitting the Republican vote, he said: “[Mr Trump’s] already losing.
On TV shows this Sunday, McMullin pointed out that Donald Trump has no realistic chance of winning the White House according to polls. “Then there are also other legal challenges that are available to us, as well”, McMullin said. “We’re also talking to other parties who are interested in what we’re doing”. Meanwhile, Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson has surged in the polls.

“Our campaign is a little over 72 hours old, and as our online community, small-dollar donations, volunteer base and media presence has exploded, we’re thrilled to announce Evan is on the ballot in Colorado”, said Joel Searby, the campaign’s chief strategist. To make the stage, a candidate must have a reasonable expectation of reaching the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency – less likely if he is not able to qualify for many ballots.
