Even J.K. Rowling Can’t Get The Harry Potter Timeline Right

It is now publishing three new e-books, a series called “Pottermore Presents”, revealing facts surrounding the Hogwarts wizarding school.

Over on Reddit, user WippitGuud, has brought forward a theory which could finally answer the question of whether or not Harry actually died for a few moments in The Deathly Hallows.

You’ll remember in one of the final scenes in the film/book combo, Harry Potter has a conversation with the dearly departed Albus Dumbledore in what appears to be a ghostly Kings Cross station.

But the fan theory argues otherwise – and says that he DID die, before resurrecting himself because he’s the master of the Deathly Hallows. This did not happen the second time’. Voldemort didn’t leave a mark on Harry in the forbidden forest.

You think you know Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows and then some redditor throws a confundus charm your way. But because Harry contained some of Voldemort’s blood and was therefore acting like a kind of Horcrux, he needed to die in order to kill Voldemort-which he was able to do.

The theory goes like this: if Lily’s love had protected Harry, it would have acted the same way it did back when Hazza was a baby and was attacked by Voldemort. We’ll keep you posted.

You were the horcrux he never meant to make Harry…

Dumbledore even comments on it, “And that, I think, will have made all the difference”.

Another day, and another fan theory from the Harry Potter universe that seems to be so well thought out that it will probably blow your tiny mind. Meaning that the spell would have rebounded like it did before (and it didn’t) and the curse would have left a scar like it did before (and it didn’t).

The people in Hogwarts had the same protection that Harry had when Lily sacrificed herself to protect Harry.
