Evernote adds Google Drive integration
Evernote is one of the top note-taking apps today.

In a statement, Evernote chief executive officer Chris O’Neill said, “Once people see how well Evernote and Google Drive work together, they’ll use both products intuitively”.
As opposed to the earlier option that just allowed users to copy links of the documents saved on the cloud, and paste them on the note, a document saved on Google Drive can now be opened on the note.
This integration is created to better enable people to keep notes in Evernote while linking to things stored in Google Drive. Evernote users will be able to include other authors to their notes and collaboratively produce linked rich content across several file types including documents, pictures, sounds and videos.
The partnership could provide Evernote with some much-needed stability.
The announcement of the integration comes less than a month after Google announced updates to Google Keep. Google Drive plans on being integrated with other third-party applications like WhatsApp and Yahoo Mail.
Even though this is a great feature introduced by Evernote, for this integration to work, the user needs to remain online.
To activate this feature, users have to select the “Switch to beta” option located on the upper right corner of the app.
Evernote gives each user 60 MB of free cloud storage, and Google offers access to 15 GB of free storage, with an option to upgrade to up to 1 TB for less than $10 per month.
