Romelu Lukaku vowed to become a “serial killer” after scoring an 11 minute hat-trick to send miserable Sunderland into a relegation panic.

Lukaku had gone 15hrs and 52 minutes without a league goal dating back to March 5th. We gave up the goals cheaply. I could have scored five.
“We’ve worked on the (training) pitch about it and done it on the field”.
Wahbi Khazri has hardly had a start since Moyes took over and he will not have endeared himself to the new boss with his half-hearted challenge on Gerard Deulofeu in the build-up to the opener. For an hour we kept at it.

It was our corner kick. “We created loads of chances, and at half-time, 0-0, everything was okay. It breaks, we lose a tackle on the edge of the box and we’re losing a goal”.
Ross Barkley has stagnated at Everton and should have left the Merseyside club two years ago, according to ex-England worldwide Rodney Marsh. Every manager will select the best players and the best team. “But I will speak to Ross tomorrow and that’s no problem”.
Moments later Lukaku was at it again.
In a first half short of goalmouth action, both sides were guilty of missing gilt-edged chances.
Left-back van Aanholt was also seemingly left disappointed by the performances of Spaniard Manquillo and Senegalese Djilobodji and the Dutchman has suggested that language problems have caused the Sunderland backline to perform so poorly so far this season.
