Every British Olympian had the same red bag; baggage claim chaos ensues

Team Great Britain provided bags for their athletes and somehow didn’t anticipate the trouble with every item looking exactly the same.

Luckily, Team GB were on a high from their 67-medal win and seen the amusing side of it.

Some 320 athletes and support staff flew home from Rio de Janeiro on British Airways flight BA2016.

An Olympic uniform is one thing, but giving everyone on the team the same luggage isn’t the best idea.

However, it appears they didn’t think through what baggage claim would be like upon returning from the games. A bad decision to give all the athletes the same red bag led to utter chaos at the airport.

Olympic rower Alex Gregory chimed in on Twitter, writing, “Anyone seen my red bag?”

Gymnast Becky Downie posted a video of athletes milling around checking hundreds of identical red luggage bags.
