‘Everything We Provide is Fresh,’ Planned Parenthood Leader Tells Undercover

Appropriating some of the themes used by the Occupy Wall Street movement, Hawkins urged the Eagle Forum activists to pressure Congress to shut down the government over Planned Parenthood funding, saying that the move would give them an opportunity to rebrand Planned Parenthood as the “Walmart of abortion” and the true foe of the “99 percent“.

A House committee chairman issued a subpoena Tuesday for an anti-abortion group’s unedited videos about Planned Parenthood’s provision of fetal tissue for research. Oh my God, gonads. She said of Obama, “As long as he’s in that Oval Office with a veto pen, it’s difficult to see how we could win that battle”.

That person would be Deborah VanDerhei, the national director for Consortium of Planned Parenthood Abortion Providers (CAPS).

Hoping to prevent the Republican uproar over the Planned Parenthood videos from snowballing into a government shutdown, GOP leaders are turning for help to polling data and one of the nation’s most powerful anti-abortion groups.

Murphy traveled from her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last Thursday to participate in the event, which aimed to put pressure on Congress to pass a budget that does not fund Planned Parenthood. VanDerhei explains, “I have been talking to the executive director of the National Abortion Federation, we’re trying to figure this out as an industry, about how we’re going to manage remuneration, because the headlines would be a disaster”. VanDerhei later asks a prospective buyer. I don’t even know what in general, what a specimen generally brings in. When she is told $100 per specimen, she remarks, “But we have independent colleagues who generate a fair amount of income doing this”. VanDerhei nods her head up and down and affirms, “Mhm”.

CMP reports, “Vanessa Cullins, the Vice President of External Medical Affairs, seems fully aware of the criminal exposure that fetal body parts sales present to Planned Parenthood: ‘This is important”.

Rep. Skip Stam, R-Wake, a longtime opponent of Planned Parenthood, said he would prefer that teens get pregnancy prevention and sexual education services from other sources, such as public health departments.

“This could destroy your organization and us, if we don’t time those conversations correctly”, she tells an actor posing as a fetal tissue buyer. While Planned Parenthood is the Goliath, Hawkins said, David Daleiden, the activist behind the sting videos, is fittingly named “David” – “I think the Holy Spirit had something to do when his mother named him”.

Later this week, the House is likely to approve a bill blocking Planned Parenthood’s money for a year.

Love, elected in 2014 to represent the 4th District, also stressed her opposition to Planned Parenthood, under fire over videos connecting the organization to the harvesting and sale of aborted fetus parts. In conjunction with that bill, the House will also vote on an amendment to shift the funding that would have gone to Planned Parenthood to other women’s health care providers.
