Ex-Bears tight end Bennett on Cutler: ‘Worst quarterback in the NFL’
Seriously, it’s a must-read, but below are the highlights.

“That’s a great analogy”, Michael says.
“Tom Brady on crutches could throw better than Jay Cutler”.
Martellus: “The silver fox you never get to see but you hear about”.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
The two went on to zing other National Football League players and coaches, but in Chicago, it was the Cutler criticism that resonated as fans took to Twitter to heap scorn on Martellus Bennett, who dropped his fair share of Cutler passes.
What about Eli Manning? “I don’t know. I’m really not going get into that”, Cutler said on Wednesday. When asked about Bennett’s recent criticism, Cutler said, “Most receivers and tight ends are always open”.
“You can’t please everybody”, Cutler said laughing.
His brother, Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett, stated that the NFLPA should be hiring people who used to work at Google and Apple.
Tell us how you really feel, Martellus. Overall, they just let me be me and I think overall that’s the biggest thing with making progress and getting to know everybody. Take this passage, for instance …
“Yeah, you get to the bedroom”, Michael says. “I’m telling you, go to Vegas right now [and bet on Cutler]”. But I’d say they’re both extremely competitive. “This soup is so good”, he says.
“Growing up, black people never owned anything”, Martellus Bennett said.
“Once you get rich, you start collecting weird s– like silverware”.
Martellus then extended the kind sentiments about the Giants before Michael revealed that he’s motivated by the prospect of the brothers meeting in the Super Bowl.
Michael: “In the NBA, LeBron James, Chris Paul. they’re at the forefront (with the players’ union)”.
Michael: “Probably the quarterback I like to hit the most”. Thursday’s rant wasn’t even the first time Smith has talked about how much he hates the Bears QB and it certainly won’t be the last. And it reaffirms that the robotic, cliche-riddled athletes that permeate all pro sports are the odd ones, not them.
