Madison police said Montee Ball, 25, was at the Hampton Inn and Suites on West Johnson Street at 3:43 a.m. when he was physically violent toward his girlfriend.

Ball was outside the hotel and reportedly was cooperative.

The Madison State Journal reports that Ball’s girlfriend told police he had put his hands on her, picked her up, and thrown her into a table.

Ball played college football at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

She told police she hit a table, resulting in the cut on her leg, which needed stitches.

The other was J.J. Worton, who was charged with two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 and over and one count of assault and battery the day before the AFC title game.
