The video shows Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice picking up some unsuspecting passengers around the Bay Area, even asking some of them who is their favorite team.

As the New York Daily News noted, in order to not blow his cover right away in the town where he played for 15 years, he wore a hat and sunglasses and of course took off his Super Bowl rings.
His record of 208 touchdowns and 22,895 receiving yards won him induction into the Hall of Fame in 2010. He gets one rider to sing for him in the auto and gets out and dances with others.
Upon the reveal, the Niner guy said he knew all along, while another said he recognized Rice’s voice.
Rice also is a 13-time Pro Bowl and 10-time NFL First-Team All-Pro selection.
All of them never recognize the Hall of Famer until he tells them his true identity.
“Loved going undercover as a [Lyft] driver in the Bay Area”, Rice tweeted. Or is it Jay, your friendly Lyft driver?

So next time you call for a ride, make sure you really check out who is driving you around.
