The 19-year-old reportedly stabbed a young man in the femoral artery of his leg during an alleged robbery on Sunday night in the town of Edgewater, the New York Daily News reported.

Tremols, Lubin, Jean-Pierre, and Gaspard confronted Noerdlinger and “an altercation” occurred during which Noerdlinger allegedly stabbed “S.L.”, who died at Palisades General Hospital early February 1, Grewal said.

During an investigation, police found that the victim and four other suspects arrived at 276 Old River Road Sunday evening to allegedly rob Khari Noerdlinger, 19.

Lichtman planned to push for Khari Noerdlinger’s release at a court appearance in Bergen County criminal court Tuesday.

Investigators say Noerdlinger and others tried to remove evidence from the scene of the stabbing. They say the accomplices were arrested on robbery charges.

Authorities charged Noerdlinger with aggravated manslaughter, possession of a weapon for an unlawful objective, and hindering apprehension. His attorney, Jeffry Lichtman, told the News, “We’re disappointed that he was charged with such a serious crime, and he was the victim of a crime, of armed robbery”. He was arrested at his home on Monday morning.

Khari’s mother, Rachel Noerdlinger, resigned in 2014 after a string of damaging disclosures about her personal life, including the arrest of her son on misdemeanor trespassing charges.
