Ex-Subway Pitchman In Sex Abuse Suit: Victim’s Parents To Blame
The parents sued Fogle, Taylor and Taylor’s wife, Angela, in March on behalf of the girl, who is referred to as Jane Doe in the complaint.

In a motion filed in the case, Fogle’s attorneys seek to have her parents, who are identified only by their initials, added as defendants in the case as well.
But Krent called it “bizarre” that Fogle’s attorneys are suggesting that her parents’ alleged negligent supervision played a role in her emotional distress.
Ronald Ellberger, an Indianapolis-based lawyer listed for Fogle, did not return a request for comment.
Fogle is serving a almost 16-year prison sentence and was ordered to pay each of his victims $100,000.
Jared Fogle is back in the spotlight, and is blaming the family of one of his victims for her “destructive behavior” as a way to divert negative media attention away from himself.
Jared Fogle is suing the parents of one of his female victims.
It has been widely reported that prison food isn’t doing much to help Jared Fogle maintain his Subway-svelte physique, and there are plenty of rumors that he’s packing on much of the weight he so famously lost by eating Subway sandwiches.
Jared Fogle has a lot of time to dream up far-fetched legal maneuvers now that he’s been condemned to 15 years in federal prison. It’s also disappointing to see Fogle continuously fail to take responsibility for his actions. Thursday’s filing indicates Fogle plans to argue that because Doe was already depressed and hurting herself before his crimes came to light, that he should not have to pay the price for all of Doe’s emotional distress and trauma.
Other portions of the report state that the victim has allegedly engaged in drug and alcohol abuse, expressing suicidal thoughts and self-mutilation.
Russell Taylor, Fogle’s business partner, secretly filmed underage girls using cameras around his home.

The judge has not ruled on the motion. The records said she was secretly recorded bathing and undressing at Taylor’s house in Indianapolis, where she was a regular visitor between March 2011 and January 2015. The pornography was produced over a four-year period.
