Ex-wife accuses Donald Trump’s new campaign CEO of anti-Semitic remarks

In a sworn court declaration, Stephen Bannon’s ex-wife, said the new campaign chief had objected to sending their twin daughters to an elite Los Angeles academy because he “didn’t want the girls going to school with Jews”.

Now, reports indicate that Piccard also accused Bannon of making vile anti-semitic remarks, including saying he “doesn’t like Jews” and didn’t want his daughters attending school with their kids who are “whiney brats”.

According to Piccard, Bannon had wanted to send the girls to a Catholic school.

Preate did not respond to a request for comment from CNN; Trump campaign spokespeople also did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

The charges were dropped after Piccard failed to show up at trial, according to court records.

The accusations are the latest in a string of bad press for Bannon dredged up from the divorce proceedings.

She told police that she and Mr Bannon had a fight and that he had seized a telephone when she had attempted to call for help, throwing it across the room and smashing it.

Mr. Bannon’s lawyer, she said, “threatened me”, telling her that if Mr. Bannon went to jail, she “would have no money and no way to support the children”.

“I have no idea why the Guardian article claims a neighbor says they never saw Steve, but the house has high bushes and sort of a high fence so I could see how they might not”, Delgado said. The charges Bannon faced afterwards, including misdemeanor domestic violence, battery, and dissuading a witness, were dropped in August of 1996, and the couple divorced shortly thereafter. ‘”He also told me that if I went to court he and his attorney would make sure that I would be the one who was guilty”.

“She complained of soreness to her neck”, the officer wrote in the police report. She struck back until she was able to break free and run into the house with Bannon in pursuit, she said.

Police responding to the incident discovered Piccard with red marks in her left wrist and neck, according to a report released by Santa Monica officials Friday. However, last week, a Los Angeles Times story claimed Bannon is a resident of Laguna Beach, Calif., where he was registered to vote since the ’80s until switching to Florida two years ago. But Alexandra Preate, a spokeswoman for Bannon, said police never interviewed Bannon, who is on leave from the conservative news site Breitbart. Though he did eventually fire Lewandowski, it was reportedly only because there were doubts about whether he would be able to manage a general election campaign – not because of his battery charges, for which Trump actually defended his campaign manager.
