Just before their tour kicked off on September 3, Maroon 5 announced they were rescheduling seven shows, and that Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo would be celebrating their firstborn.

The stars announced the news on their Facebook page on Friday (16Sep16).

And Maroon 5 just cancelled their September 19 show in Hartford, Connecticut, the band reported – just in case the little Levine decides to make a dramatic arrival while daddy is performing.

Besides the September 19 show, no other shows on the band’s current US tour will be rescheduled and all other USA tour dates will proceed as scheduled. Those gigs are rescheduled for February and March in 2017.

“Sadly, it’s par for the course with having a baby soon”, he said in the clip. “It’s lovely but it can be complicated”. “We love you, and we’re sorry”.
