Just three days before Saturday’s primary, Haley is scheduled to appear with Rubio at a 6 p.m. town hall and announce her endorsement of the senator, The Post and Courier reported.

Trump said at a Lowcountry appearance this week that Haley had been weak in her responses to the issues of the possibly transferring prisoners from the federal detention facility at Guantanamo Bay to SC and in opposing the acceptance of Syrian refugees.
Some South Carolina television stations are pulling a negative television advertisement from a group supporting Ted Cruz because of the claims it makes against Marco Rubio.
The Lee campaign told the Rubio and Cruz camps he would be willing to attend a campaign event, but both would have to say yes. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Ohio Gov. John Kasich continue to battle for a spot at the table, while retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson struggles for relevancy. At one point during a Summerville campaign stop, Bush mimicked pundits suggesting the race is over. “I mean, it is an interesting moment, but one reason may be that she is someone who is on the short list for any of the Republican candidates, particularly if Hillary Clinton is the nominee, and they are looking to kind of counter that appeal among women”. His father and brother, both former presidents who won the S.C. presidential primary, have reached out to Haley in recent weeks. But GOP voters in SC instead picked Newt Gingrich.
In South Carolina this week, Rubio has gained in polls to challenge Cruz for second. In fact, there was known to be bad blood between Team Haley and some of Rubio’s people dating back to their time as local operatives in SC, which might have explained the “amnesty” attack.
The New Hampshire primary last week did little to clarify the race behind front-runners. She also is considered unlikely to support Cruz, whose hardline social conservative views worry some mainstream Republicans concerned about winning the November general election.
