Mostly cloudy and windy on Saturday, with only a couple of scattered snow showers possible. The high for the Twin Cities Wednesday is in the teens, and by Thursday the high is in the upper 20s, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. This is a complex storm system and we will keep you updated, but it should be cold enough for some snow showers on Saturday and Sunday. Evening temperatures in the teens will actually rise into the low 20s (-5° Celsius for our Canadian friends) by dawn.

Overnight lows will stay around 20 degrees and it will snow, with up to 2 inches falling. West wind 11 to 16 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 29 miles per hour. During the late afternoon/early evening, temperatures start to drop near/below freezing which would allow the rain to switch to a mix then to all snow as the evening goes on.

High temperatures will be in the single digits above zero for most of Minnesota Monday, but strong northwest winds are expected to develop later in the day. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Even if we start our Thursday with a peek or two of sun, the day should be cloudy overall, with temperatures reaching the low 30s (0° Celsius) by mid-afternoon.
