Expect More Political Fireworks At Tonight’s GOP Debate
Ryan, who as House speaker will preside over the GOP convention in July, repeatedly cites his role in the party as the reason he will remain neutral in the 2016 presidential race.

The Republican Party’s final four head into a debate Thursday as Donald Trump’s rivals and various GOP groups mobilize to try to deny him the presidential nomination.
Thursday’s debate came at a critical point in the race for Trump and his rivals.
Trump and Clinton each won seven states on Super Tuesday, when 12 states were voting.
But still, it’s not over.
Mainstream figures in the party are seeking a strategy to halt Trump’s march to the nomination for the November 8 election to succeed Democratic President Barack Obama.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich said, “I kind of think before it’s all said and done I’ll be the nominee”.
Trump countered with a mild effort at detente, saying he’d called Rubio a “lightweight” in the past, but “he’s really not that much of a lightweight”. Marco Rubio, who’s leveled some of the harshest attacks on Trump in recent days.
The debate takes place at The Fox Theatre in Detroit, Mich. Fox News will offer a live broadcast, and it will be available through a free livestream on FoxNews.com, Fox News Radio and Fox News Mobile.
Romney said in an unprecedented speech Thursday morning that Trump’s domestic policies will lead to recession and his foreign policy will make the country less safe.

Asked whether they would support the eventual Republican nominee, Cruz, Kasich and Rubio all said they would, even while insisting they had not given up the fight against Trump. Marco Rubio unleashed a new wave of attacks against Trump over the last two weeks, casting him as a “con artist” who is trying to bamboozle the Republican Party into backing him.
