Explosive sales for newest ‘Harry Potter’ tale: 2 million and counting

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has opened to rave reviews, and now the script of the play has been published, and is of course setting unprecedented sales for a script book.

There’s no chance that the first film won’t be a huge hit, coming at a time when Potter fans have been starved of big screen releases for years and fresh from the hype of the stageplay The Cursed Child.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them releases November 18th!

Fantastic Beasts was originally announced as a film series in 2013, says Deadline Hollywood, but is based on a Hogwarts textbook mentioned in Rowling’s first novel in the series, Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone.

Deathly Hallows sold a record 8.3 million copies in the United States in its first 24 hours back in 2007.

Redmayne said: “My favourite film is probably the finale – Deathly Hallows: Part 2”, naming one of the four films that Fantastic Beasts director David Yates helmed.

“The second movie introduces new characters as she builds this part of the Harry Potter universe further”.

Sequel announced. Eddie Redmayne in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Whereas the print version is a literal compilation of magical creatures which inhabit the wizarding world and their descriptions, the film adaptation will bring Newt Scamander to New York City in the 1920s. I wanted to love this.I love Harry Potter and everything about the Harry Potter world.

“There’s no doubt about it, this will be our biggest book of the year”, Skipper said in a statement.

The announcement comes days after Rowling announced she is done writing Harry Potter stories after celebrating the official opening of her new West End play Harry Potter and The Cursed Child last month (Jul16).

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has also become the fastest-selling script book, said publishers Little, Brown.

“I can handle the fact that it’s written as a play, I was expecting this”.
