Ezra Miller Discusses ‘The Flash’ And Says The TV Show Is ‘Awesome’

Ezra Miller, who is set to play The Flash on the big screen, takes no issue with playing a superhero that already has an accompanying television series starring Grant Gustin.

Barry Allen is the Silver Age, who follows a lot of interesting discoveries in physics… Where he comes from is [that] we figured out that the Event Horizon was there, and he was the character who was created through our mythos machine of comic books to break that Event Horizon, so you could explore – in fantasy – [and] I think thats an interesting idea. I think they’re just going to be there for each other.

However, according to ScreenRant, to answer the question, he said that the idea of it makes him thing of what it does to a person is what he was really interested in.

WTF, indeed. Miller has always been a fan of comic books and clearly knows his stuff. “I’m not avoiding it all”. I particularly enjoyed the way Miller said he is “going in as hard as possible” on Flash comics to prepare. C’mon, we’re The Flash!

Grant Gustin keeps a low profile while wearing part of his costume on the set of The Flash on Wednesday (July 15) in Vancouver, Canada. He joked that with both actors being The Flash, it’s the “event horizon” and that they crossed it! I can say though that we see how the singularity has affected all of our characters and we will get glimpses as to what exactly happened.

Now that’s all well and good-it’s probably no surprise that Miller is excited to get a role like The Flash. But Miller, up to this point, has gravitated to character-driven indie projects, and I wasnt sure if the concept of giving himself over to the DC Cinematic Universe was in his cards.
