England are among the top seeds, meaning they avoided favourites France, Germany and Spain in the group stage in Euro 2016.

Slutsky’s side will also face England in Group B, taking on Roy Hodgson’s side in their first group match in Marseille on June 11, and he admits that he is intrigued by the match-ups his side have been given.
Dyke said: “We had a one in two chance of either drawing Wales, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland”.
“If you get four points you get out of the group”.
The game will be the fifth meeting between the teams – having met four times in European Championship qualifying – and it caps off an Easter week that also sees Martin O’Neill’s side host Switzerland at the Aviva on Good Friday, 25 March.
Coleman was relieved England was not the first game, saying: “At least we can have a little taste of it”.
The encounter with England is one of the stellar ties of the group stage and, despite his pre-draw desire, Coleman will relish the chance to take on Roy Hodgson who, as then-Blackburn manager, sold defender Coleman to Fulham in 1997.
“You know if England hit the right notes they have the capacity to beat anybody”. It is going to be a firecracker, we know that.
PROJECTED TOP TWO: It’s a tough call, but England is likely to come top with Russian Federation likely to just get the better of Wales.
What makes it tougher is that the winners of Group E will face the runners-up from Group D, which features defending champions Spain, the Czech Republic, Turkey and Croatia, and the runners-up of Group E will take on the winners from Group F, which includes Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, Iceland, Austria and Hungary.
France last hosted the Euro in 1984 and won it thanks to the brilliance of Michel Platini’s nine goals from midfield.
The Euro 2016 finals will provide a “powerful response” to the Paris terrorist attacks carried out by so-called Islamic State, a senior member of the French government has told Sky News.
Hodgson has insisted he does not mind if England are drawn against Wales or one of the Irish sides.
Coleman said: “They broke our hearts that day and I still remember that feeling of losing in the play-offs”. I remember that feeling when we missed out.

“We are a lot further down the line now”. “German football fans can look forward to the second round”. “Russia, Slovakia and England, I am looking forward to all three games”.
