The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said Friday they requested the assistance of the FBI Lab at Quantico, Va., to lead the testing of Harrouff’s blood for toxicology.

Other videos showed Harrouff giving several fitness tutorials as well as singing karaoke and saying he had a “normal side and psycho side”. He’s pictured walking through the restaurant wearing white shorts, a blue shirt and a red hat. His mother later told a 911 dispatcher the hat read “Make America Great Again”, the campaign slogan for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. Snyder has said Harrouff left in apparent anger after an argument with his father at their table.

Jupiter police officers searched the area for Austin Harrouff, but couldn’t find him.

Hundreds of people attended a funeral set for Michelle Mishcon and John Stevens at the Parker Playhouse, Friday afternoon, to pay their respects.

The video shows Austin Harrouff, 19, leaving a restaurant called Duffy’s on Monday night before he allegedly killed a couple as they sat in the garage of their home.

A neighbor who tried to intervene was stabbed.

His mother told police her son didn’t have any history of mental problems and wasn’t a heavy drug user. Ms Mischon had also been stabbed but the coroner ruled she had died from being beaten.

He also will face an attempted first-degree murder charge for allegedly stabbing their neighbor, Jeff Fisher.

Martin County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Trisha Kukuvka said Harrouff is conscious, but heavily sedated.

“There was an enormous amount of violence in that garage”, Mr Snyder said, adding that there was no connection between the couple and Harrouff.

The seemingly random and unprovoked attack has captured the attention of the nation, said Snyder on Wednesday.

A medical examiner ruled Tuesday the manner of death for Stevens and Mishcon was homicide, Snyder said.

They said they love their son “and know he is not the person some are making him out to be”. “I just want to see the prosecutor ask for the death penalty”. When I told him he was going to have a granddaughter he was just super excited.

Ivy Stevens agreed: “I hope he makes a full recovery so he can be put through the justice system”.

Police are hoping tests for substances in Harrouff’s system help explain his weird and extremely violent behaviour.

Martin County Sheriff William Snyder has said Harrouff appeared to be in a delirious state that is similar to those caused by the synthetic drug flakka, but tests have not come back that could indicate whether the drug was involved. In it, he was talking about bodybuilding and a decision he said he made not to do drugs or steroids.

Attorney Robert Watson, who said he’s representing Harrouff, told TC Palm (http://bit.ly/2b3AAkH) that the student’s parents saw “indications of odd and unusual behavior” in him recently, but he declined to elaborate on possible mental health issues.
