Facebook adds haha, love, wow reactions to ‘like’ button
Reactions is an extension to the Like button and it gives users more options to share their reactions to a post, easily and quickly.

Facebook has already tested the Reaction feature in a few markets like Spain and Ireland since a year ago and received positive feedback.
Rather than simply “liking” a status or photo, you can now more accurately express your feelings with the following five Reaction buttons: Love, Haha, Wow, Sad and Angry.
From Wednesday, users can click that their reaction is “Love”, “Angry”, “Sad”, “Wow” or “Haha” as well as “Like”. While users have long wanted a “Dislike” button, Zuckerberg said that it would be too negative.
What are your thoughts?
Facebook’s highly anticipated reactions are here, and this is how to use them.
Over time the goal is to figure out how the different Reactions should be weighted differently by News Feed to pinpoint user preferences. Subsequently, rather than tallying “likes” on a post, Facebook will now calculate the reaction count and display the icons of the buttons most pressed.
“We will initially use any Reaction similar to a Like to infer that you want to see more of that type of content”, says Facebook.
Not every moment you want to share is happy.
For all the people who wished Facebook had a “dislike” button, your wish just came true.
They also looked at user’s comments and posts, to see what emoticons people use.
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the right way to do this with our team.

Now, it seems like Facebook has finally heard the appeal of the users as the company today announced the launch of a new feature called Reactions, which will now enable users to express what they feel about the post through emojis.
