Facebook has made this update on its App running on Android Beta version of 85 and 86.

According to a report by Android Police, the option to save videos is now showing up in versions 85 and 86 (beta) of the app. Users can select the “Save video” option from the drop-down menu in a particular video. Only original videos posted on personal Facebook profiles and pages will get the offline video download option.

Facebook recently informed its video platform partners and content writers that it would be experimenting with offline videos.

If you’ve always wanted to have a feature in your Facebook app that would let you save videos and watch them offline, this is apparently something that’s on its way.

You can now save your favorite videos on Facebook and can watch them anytime you wish to.

With infinite videos on your timeline, which play automatically, you can now be able to save your favorite videos and watch them only through the app.

The move followed feedback from users in the country citing poor video experiences because of limited mobile coverage, Facebook said in a statement.

Well, you like a video on FB and want to keep it save for later viewing!
