Facebook-owned Oculus announced new social and video features for its virtual reality platform, that beginning on Thursday, will work with the Samsung Gear VR (powered by Oculus). Oculus Video and Facebook Video Content will also be able to be shared via Facebook. Overall, it looks like the Facebook-owned company is bringing a pinch of the social network to Gear VR headsets. Even if you and your friends are dispersed across the country, you can now play games and watch Twitch in the same room – the same virtual room, that is. With this connection, users will be able to “personalize their 360 video feed” based on which pages and people they follow.

Also, starting tomorrow, users can write a review for all apps available on Oculus Store.
