Facebook post: ‘I need someone to shoot my dog’
A Texas woman turned to social media on Thursday in a quest to find someone to shoot her garbage scavenging dog reported Friday’s KHOU 11 News.

The animal’s owner said she wanted someone else to come and kill the animal because “nobody here has the heart to do it”.
The dog, Cinnamon, a 3 year-old Saint Bernard/ English bulldog mix, was picked up by Nicholas Pet Haven and given to a foster family. The woman asked someone to please come kill her dog and that she would “provide the gun” if needed.
Animal shelter coordinator Nanette Moss knows things could have gone differently. The freaky posting on Facebook book, made by a woman who lives in Troupe, set off a deluge of comments by individuals who read the odd and dark request.
“If you’re no longer able to care for them, or having trouble with them, you need to contact an animal shelter or a rescue group to see if you can get your dog placed, nine times out of ten that is going to happen”, she says. “When she walked through my door it just broke my heart”, she explained.
Cinnamon was taken from this insane lady and she is now with a foster family until she is adopted. “I work with these dogs every day”, she gushed.

Friends tried to calm down the woman telling her to take some deep breaths before doing anything rash to the dog. Since she is not facing charges, we will not release the woman’s name.
