It is certainly your prerogative to say goodbye to Facebook and uninstall any related apps (WhatsApp and Instagram included).
Cambridge Analytica denies any of the data acquired was used as part of the services it provided to the Trump campaign.
European officials also have also been investigating or seeking more information. However, it’s still unclear to some users how to access or change their privacy settings or see the data Facebook has about them.

“If it is ever the case that I am the most informed person at Facebook in the best position to testify, I will happily do that”, Zuckerberg told Thompson in an interview with WIRED. “Our internal review of the situation continues and we look forward to responding”. In addition, Facebook is also facing widespread criticism for collecting years of contact names, telephone numbers and call and text histories from Android users.
