Fact Check: Clinton calls Trump “ISIS’ best recruiter”

GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is demanding that his Democratic counterpart, Hillary Clinton, apologize for saying the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is using him to recruit fighters.

Her views were brought to light during a two-hour Democratic party debate that largely focused on foreign policy, Clinton too time to defend why Libyan strongman Muammar Gaddafi had to be pushed out, a position which Republican presidential candidates have criticized.

‘She lies like insane about everything, ‘ Trump told Chuck Todd on Meet the Press.

Trump has come under criticism for suggesting all Muslims should be temporarily barred from entering the United States until a better picture emerges of whether pro-jihad Muslims are entering the country.

Many critics, including some of Trump’s Republican rivals, see his positions as playing into the hands of terrorists and raising the risk of radicalizing Muslims. “So guns have to be looked at as its own problem, but we also have to figure out how we’re going to deal with the radicalization here in the United States”. “If ISIS was using Trump for recruitment videos, we would expect a frenzy of media coverage over it. We rate this claim False”, they wrote.

The former Secretary of State strongly acknowledged there is “systemic racism” in the nation’s justice system.

“What we need on this issue is not more polls”.

“No fact-checker has been able to back up her claim on that”, he said.

The Clinton campaign has since backpedaled slightly on its candidate’s comments.

The debate, hosted by ABC News and held at St. Anselm College, immediately kicked off with moderator David Muir asking if Clinton deserved an apology. Trump has said that there is a “Muslim problem”.

So, it seems likely that the first part of Clinton’s claim-that Trump is “ISIS’s best recruiter”-is at least partly true”.

Asked to comment on Sunday, the Clinton campaign did not respond to Trump’s charge but reiterated that Hillary Clinton’s remark was based on evidence that supporters of the extremist group frequently cite Trump’s comments to make the case that Americans hate Muslims.

“The second time a staffer or more – we don’t know yet, we’re doing that investigation – screwed up and we have fired that person”, he said. I’ve heard headlines exonerating me and saying Trump was right.
