You say that the states that have the most gun laws have the least gun violence. “The reporting is routine”. My response here at this podium ends up being routine, the conversation in the aftermath of it… The numbers alone should move us to action. The gunman, who was killed in a shootout with police after the attack Thursday, wrote that he would be “welcomed in Hell and embraced by the devil”, according to NBC News.

Panelists include Friday, former NFL offensive lineman and gun violence survivor Richard Collier and National Rifle Association representative Cord Byrd. The British also started searching for guns and ammunition without warrants.
Lott’s group describes itself as a research and education organization “dedicated to conducting academic quality research on the relationship between laws regulating the ownership or use of guns, crime, and public safety”. “I hope and pray that I don’t have to come out again during my tenure as president to offer my condolences to families in these circumstances”.

News4Jax spoke to people with different viewpoints, but two things they can agree on is that the violence has to stop, and Americans aren’t doing enough to prevent shootings like this. “I think we need to reconnect ourselves with everybody else…”, Bush said in South Carolina, Salon reported.
Instead, in the years following the 2012 shooting massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the fight over gun policy has increasingly moved to the state level where a spate of legislation has been debated in statehouses. “Mr. President, please do not take my liberties away for your security”. But if pollsters ask about individual changes in gun laws, as Pew has done, everything changes. For the US’s big problem with guns is with illegal guns.
To his credit, Bernie Sanders responded with a portfolio of measures he’d like to see to reduce gun violence: gun control, mental health services, and less violent media. There must be consequences for those who value NRA money and endorsements over human life.
