First-round safety Keanu Neal (knee) and veteran defensive end Adrian Clayborn (shoulder) will have MRIs today to determine the severity of their injuries. It’s highly unlikely that he’ll return to this preseason game, especially since there’s no reason for the Falcons to need to see anything else from their top wideout.

The Falcons lost another starter early in the second quarter when Pro Bowl receiver Julio Jones got tangled up with Miami cornerback Brice McCain, who was called for pass interference on a deep pass from Matt Ryan. He tried to corral Dolphins running back Arian Foster in the flat, but twisted his knee awkwardly on the turf at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium. Neal was able to walk off the field with minimal help but that didn’t stop Falcons fans from holding their breath. Neal is supposed to be coach Dan Quinn’s new Kam Chancellor.
Even before the MRI, Neal was reportedly telling teammates that he would be a full-go for the Falcons first regular season game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Atlanta Falcons were hit with a bit of a scare early on in their third preseason game against the Miami Dolphins. Officially listed as “questionable” to return, Suh has an injury to his ankle.

The Dolphins lead the Falcons 7-3 at halftime.
