Falcons vs. Saints: Odds, Point Spread & Over-Under

Falcons center Mike Person, who left Sunday’s win over Washington with a sprained ankle, is expected to miss Thursday night’s game at New Orleans. It was the third straight game that New Orleans played without Evans, but he was a full participant on Tuesday and said, via the New Orleans Times-Picayune, that he plans to be in the lineup against Atlanta. He isn’t sure if he will play on Thursday against the Saints but if he does, the Falcons’ star wide receiver likely will be limited again. Jones, who has been battling a hamstring injury, did not practice on Monday. As a unit its allowed 28.6 points a game, 29th in the league, and it hasn’t given Brees more opportunities to score with only five turnovers forced in five games. Kuechly hasn’t played since suffering a concussion in Week One, but the Panthers believe there’s a good chance he’ll be through with the NFL’s concussion protocol by Sunday’s game against Seattle. Despite the sloppy effort Atlanta enters their game on the road against the Saints as favorites.

New Orleans didn’t commit a turnover in its 26-20 overtime win over Dallas on October. 4, but had four in Sunday’s 39-17 loss at Philadelphia.

Quinn told reporters he anticipates Jones playing, despite the superstar receiver dealing with a nagging hamstring injury, per NFL Media’s Tiffany Blackmon. I pray, and that’s it. And then I just go play. That will obviously be the case here, so back them to hand the Falcons their first loss of the season.

In Atlanta, the Falcons keep winning and running back Devonta Freeman keeps racking up the yards and touchdowns at an impressive rate.

Glanville also spoke on the Saints 1991 playoff game against the Falcons and what it was like leaving the Superdome with a victory.

The Saints are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games as home underdogs.
