Unfortunately, though, the company did go into the specific details regarding it. They only wrote on their tweet, “We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for “Fallout 4″ DLC”.

In addition to the DLC, Bethesda Game Studios also plans on “doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode“.
It was in September, before the release of Fallout 4, that the developer announced the game’s DLC. Of course, like the DLC, the company failed to provide any concrete evidence of what would be done to bring updates to the mode.
Fallout 4’s Survial Mode is tough, really really tough. Unfortunately, Bethesda has yet to reveal further information on either PC or console modding, but something potentially more exciting could be on the horizon. Considering the fact that other games on the market have already incorporated this feature, this means the developers are trying to keep up with their competitors and advance their user experience even further.
However, as of now, both the Fallout 4 DLC and the Survival mode are still in development. Like 4’s Survival mode, it also made medicine less effective and increased the effects of radiation. Fans speculate this may be released alongside the announcement for the DLC or that the overhaul may be a part of the upcoming DLC, but nothing is confirmed until Bethesda Softworks releases their statement.

The tweet states that survival aspects like hunger, sleep, diseases, and a lot more will be added. Considering the hype surrounding PlayStation VR, this could be very big for Fallout 4.
