Fallout 4 Has No Level Cap, Lets You Keep Playing After Completion

While “Fallout: New Vegas” has 30 but can be pushed up to 50, and with each of the four add-ons raising the cap level by five. For instance, in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, players were not allowed to continue their game after finishing the main quest line.

Bethesda has already said that it’s revising the way enemy difficulty is scaled upward in the title with player level, this is likely a result of its decision to remove level caps.

However, thanks to a DLC, gamers could sidestep the finality of the end of the Fallout 3 game – the Broken Steel DLC allowed players to finish off any side quests they may have had left. We’ll have to see how this is handled in Fallout 4. One of the main criticisms of the near-flawless Fallout 3 was its abrupt ending, where you died while purifying the waters of the Capital Wasteland. The game’s Boston setting should serve as a good host to plenty of opportunities to explore the world’s lore and keep things interesting, plus the game is absolutely stacked with features.

Fallout 4 launches 10th November on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. In other words, you can continue to grow and develop your character for as long as you want, without worrying about reaching a maximum level.
