Fallout 4 Pip-Boy companion app available now on Android and iOS

To achieve this Bethesda said that they would be releasing an app to connect to the game to enable this clever functionality.

While the game isn’t out yet, the app does have a demo mode, which includes a working interface and playable “Atomic Command” minigame.

It’s no secret that the Fallout 4 game will be unveiled on the 10th of November, but it will not come alone. Did you manage to get one of the Pip-Boy special editions of Fallout 4? The app is also due out on iOS. If you bought the very-rare Pip-Boy edition, you will have a very cool holder to use with the app but it is not required to use the companion app itself, that is open to everyone. If you own a Lumia device or something else, you’ll need to keep an eye out. If you did, there are essentially no more barrier for you to pass in order to use the tiny tracker.

The best part of the experience is that it’s really fast.

The Pip-Boy plays a crucial role during Fallout series gameplay, serving as a persistent status screen and settings menu. Who knows, maybe you’ll wind up contributing something down the road. For instance, in Fallout 3’s nuked-out landscape, the main character encounters a scattering of freakish and wicked creatures-mutated humanoids, monsters, mechanical adversaries-some of which by default will attack while others are open to interaction. For example, the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system (which stands for Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Agility, and Luck) makes an appearance. Knowing where to put these points is going to be extremely important and that’s why this app is worth a look.

For iOS users, the application can be downloaded for free via App Store.
