Fallout 4’s Survival Mode Beta Will Be Available Next Week
But alas, for those who like their games borderline impossible to play, Bethesda have announced that the game’s Survival Mode will be going into beta next week.

Fallout 4 buffs can look forward to a revamped Survival Mode, which will be in Steam beta in the ensuing week, suggesting that its release is on the anvil. The tweet also asked fans of the post-apocalyptical game to await additional details. This is more of a threat because you can’t save in Survival mode unless you sleep in a bed – which isn’t allowed it there is a threat nearby. Furthermore, you can expect the new Fallout 4 Survival Mode to arrive sometime next week.
Survival mode also features no fast travel, weighted ammo that now takes up inventory space as a result, and a wellness/sickness system that will have players managing their upset stomachs as often as they have to survive sudden Ghoul attacks.
Are you excited for Survival mode to hit Fallout 4 and up the ante on difficulty?
Fallout 4 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
While there is now no fixed release date yet for the new mode, the game’s director Todd Howard revealed to the public during an interview that the beta would most likely last for at least a month. Howard noted that if the mode’s not working well “it may stay in beta for a month, depending on what we are changing”.

The company is planning to make good on its promise to expand on the game’s Survival Mode, a mode that many people feel is lacking. Until then, enjoy the first-ever expansion pack for Fallout 4, Automatron, which launched on March 22.
