As promised, 2K has revealed Mafia 3 with a very intense and exciting new gameplay trailer.

After finally confirming Mafia 3 last week, 2K Games has officially brought forth the first actual video for the open-world action-adventure experience during Gamescom 2015, showcasing about 4 minutes of cinematic sequences from the title. This version of New Orleans is bustling with activity, complete with era-inspired cars, fashion and music. After years in Vietnam, Lincoln Clay knows this truth: “Family isn’t who you’re born with, it’s who you die for”. Coming back home from the war, Clay became a member of the Black Mob, but lost everything when the Italian Mob wiped them out.
The game is being developed by a studio known as Hangar 13, and will release in 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. But when Lincoln’s new family is betrayed and slaughtered by the Italian mob, he becomes fixated on revenge and wages a brutal war against the Italians, disrupting the balance of power in the seedy underworld of New Orleans. We can see him take out a gentleman for his new family in the trailer.
