Six residents of a Fenton Township home, including four children, were found dead Sunday after police said they succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning.
The victims, who were found in their bedrooms around 2:30 p.m., were identified as Heather and Len Quasarano and their four children, Luke, Brenden, Rachel, and Grant, according to WJBK.
Right now, fire crews have opened all of the windows of the home and are waiting for it to clear out before they go inside. Fox Detroit reports that three of the children were students at Linden Elementary School.
Pickell said the generator had been on since at least Friday when the area experienced a power outage. Grief counselors were on-hand today.
