Fans flocked to early screenings of the hotly anticipated new movie on Thursday night and the reviews of Star Wars: The Force Awakens were overwhelmingly positive.

Online ticket seller Fandango reports the film has broken their record for the most tickets sold for any film during its entire theatrical run.
The force is strong, very strong with the latest installment in the Star Wars series, at least according to fans in Winnipeg.
Matt Shavers, who was among the San Antonio fans, compared “Star Wars” to going to church. They laughed and cheered and gasped together, illuminating their sabers in the theater during key scenes.

But, Allison says she was hooked after getting sick and watching all of the Star Wars franchise movies during Spring Break.
