Fan taken into police custody for hitting WWE wrestler with briefcase
Roman Reigns was allegedly hit with a model Money in the Bank briefcase during the WWE live event on Saturday night in Victoria, British Columbia. What Reigns didn’t expect was a weapon coming out of the stands, in the form of a briefcase thrown by a fan that hit the pro wrestler in the back of the head.

Reigns appears to be ok as he was able to finish the match against Wyatt. Video footage from another fan at the event captures what happened after the incident.
Aside from members of the entertainment company’s security team, the local police force of Victoria also responded to the scene.
Due to egging the fan on, everyone involved in the incident was booted from the venue.
The fan reportedly had a replica of the Money In The Bank briefcase, the same kind of briefcase that Seth Rollins used to rob Roman of the WWE Championship. Regardless, the fan will not have a chance to get rowdy again with the WWE star since he has been banned from attending any WWE wrestling shows in the future.
Nothing screws up a live WWE event faster than a fan who wants to be part of the action.
