Fans blame sound issues for Adele’s Grammy performance

Whatever the case, Grammys sound issues or Adele actually faltering a bit, Twitter was not happy.

The stripped-down setup for a crushing Adele performance was all there: a dramatic spotlight on the singer in a floor-length, fitted scarlet gown and just a piano. While the singer’s performance was criticised by some, others went on to appreciate the grace with which she continued performing, despite the discrepancies.

We all know that Adele has a flawless, stunning voice and she can give an unbelievable performance.

The 27-year-old songstress stunned on the red carpet at the 2016 Grammy Awards, and fans were quick to take note of her impressive weight loss transformation.

New York Times film critic James Poniewozik tweeted, “I think we all owe it to Adele to undergo hypnosis to overwrite the memory of that performance with the one she should have given”. It made it sound out of tune. Im treating myself to an in n out.

Recording Academy president Neil Portnow took responsibility for the glitch and praised Adele. “So maybe it was worth it”.

A few seconds in, the piano begins to sound like a strum – in the right key, but definitely not sounding right.

“The #GRAMMYs can be as messy as they want, but not with the sound during Adele”, wrote another.
