Fans Line Up For Kanye West’s Pop-Up Store
Police nearly shut down the pop-up shop in New York’s Tribeca district on Friday morning (19Aug16) as hundreds of Yeezy fans showed up to the opening of Kanye’s The Life of Pablo pop-up store, PageSix.com reports.

According to Vogue magazine, West reported sold a million-dollars’ worth of merchandise at the Life of Pablo pop-up in NY earlier this year, before taking his wares across cities in the US. Some fans were on line as early as Thursday evening. “I’m a big Kanye West fan and a big fan of fashion. I wanted to be at the front of the queue to make sure I get my stuff”, he said.
– Love or hate his music – but what about his clothes?
The temporary storefront sells clothing inspired by West’s latest album, “The Life of Pablo”. The musician’s merchandise has been notoriously hard to purchase.
The stores have opened in Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami and NY, among other cities.
The location for LA was unveiled at kanyewest.com overnight – and it will open Friday!
The lucky 14 US cities included Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas – and of course, H-Town!

With far less pomp than that affair, a pop-up shop selling West-branded clothing – items that are more merch than high-fashion – arrives in San Francisco today.
