Fans loved Olly Murs returning to the X Factor stage to perform

Since joining the X Factor earlier this year, Caroline Flack and co-host Olly Murs haven’t exactly had the smoothest ride.

The singer and presenter announced Monica Michael was going home before the official result was announced on Sunday, leading to serious backlash from viewers who even questioned if he’d be fired.

“I apologise to everyone tonight I made a massive f*** up at the end”.

Despite the apology, rumors about the show being rigged persist.

X Factor contestant Mason Noise was eliminated from the show after a flash vote. Murs has also spoken up about the allegations and according to him, what happened was nothing but a blown-up mistake.

Anton sang I Can’t Make You Love Me, which seemed appropriate as the judges voted three to one to send Che Chesterman through after a tense sing-off.

Meanwhile, Rudimental and Ed Sheeran took to the X Factor stage to perform their new single. “And it was just a really awkward moment for me because I made a stupid mistake”, he said.

But he told co-presenter Caroline Flack after his performance that he wasn’t nervous about singing.

Mason, from Birmingham, left the show on Saturday and said: “I’ve loved it. Thank you to everyone who voted and thank you to everyone that didn’t vote”. I thought you looked absolutely stunning! You’re better than them, you’re brilliant!
