Fans pay tribute to late Alan Rickman at Platform 9 3/4
Carrie Fisher has just confused a lot of fans after tweeting a freakish Twitter tribute to Alan Rickman.

The fictional platform at King’s Cross in London was used in the Harry Potter franchise as a way for students to board the Hogwarts Express – the magical train that took students to Hogwarts School of Witchraft and Wizardry each year.
Shortly after news broke on January 10 that English-born singer and music icon David Bowie died of cancer, another British celebrity in the person of Alan Rickman lost his battle with the disease and bade farewell on Jan 14.
Fans of the late actor placed cards, flowers, and photos at the platform in London to pay their respects. “My thoughts are with his friends and family at this time”, he added.
About 30 people gathered to say farewell to the much-loved actor, who played Severus Snape, by recreating a scene from the films.
Emma Thompson, who starred alongside Rickman in films including “Sense and Sensibility” and “Love Actually”, praised Rickman’s “humor, intelligence, wisdom and kindness” and called him “the finest of actors and directors”.
Neither Rickman nor Bowie had ever made a cameo on the show.
“He was done with Harry Potter, but he wasn’t done making good films, so it’s sad”. “And I can cry, but you won’t be there to be sorry”.
I think that cello expresses the soul under the hard shell: plaintive, poetic, sublime. Grieving over his death, celebrities and fans took to social media to bridge their feelings of loss for a great man and talent in the industry. “Raise your wands for Mr Rickman aka Professor Snape. May you rest in peace”, wrote user Miriam Santiago.
Another wrote: “I’ve never liked Emma Watson“.
“Shock gave way to sadness which gave way to exhaustion. Onto the next great adventure Alan!”

While there are some muggles who consider him a “villain”, potter-heads including Harry Potter can vouch that Snape was perhaps the bravest wizard ever!
